Yes To Pomegranate Lip Butter Review

Hello beauty lovers everywhere! <3

Today I have a review for you on something that I've been meaning to try for a very long time, the Yes To Pomegranate lip balm. I've never actually tried anything from the Yes To brand before, and recently just got this lip balm.

Taste: To start with, it doesn't have that bad lip balm taste that a lot of products have. It doesn't necessarily taste like pomegranate, but it definitely doesn't taste bad.
Application: Glides on super smooth, and easy. I love the shape of the tube.
Moisturize/Product: The product is very thick, and does leave a bit of some white stuff on your lip if you put it on too thick. However, I almost always put this on before bed, or before I put lipstick on, so the white stuff doesn't really matter to me. However it's one of the only lip balms I've been able to find that keep the moisture under a drying lipstick, so that is definitely a plus for me!
Packaging: As someone who wants to go into the field of beauty marketing, I definitely pay attention to the packaging. I didn't get a picture of the lip balm in the packaging it came in, but I remember it being cute and definitely the right color for pomegranate. I love the shape of the tube, it's angled at the right way that it's not circular like a lot of other lip balms, and it's hard to describe the shape. Because of it's unique shape, it fits pretty well into a pocket of tight jeans and fits well into a pencil pouch to put in your back pack, and it doesn't roll around the floor of the classroom when it falls out of my pocket xD.
Overall: 4 out of 5 stars. It's not my new OMG product, but I definitely like it a lot and will probably purchase it again. I want to try the other flavors as well. :)

FTC Disclaimer: I was gifted this product for Christmas by my parents. This is not a sponsored post at all. All opinions are my own.

I'm BACK? Say WHAT?

Makeup lovers around the world,

Hi. I miss you all so much. I swear I haven't posted on this blog IN FOREVER. I'm back.

Recently I have re-discovered my love for beauty products and have decided that I want to continue blogging. Although I will still be blogging anonymously (you can read the About Me page if you want for the reasons)

I'm very aware that the majority of the readers of this blog have probably moved on...and honestly I can't believe anyone read this blog. xD I was 12 or 13 when I was writing it...I'm 15 now and definitely know a lot more about what I'm talking about. However, this blog was a great learning experience for me!

How the new and improved Silver Sparkle Beauty Blog will work

  • Focusing mostly on beauty related posts. There will be slim amounts of fashion posts because fashion is not as much of what I'm interested in. I will maybe post some health or lifestyle things as well, but this for the most part is a beauty blog.
  • I do not have any social media. I have my own personal social media, but that will remain private. If you need to contact me, you may email me or leave a comment on a blog post. As a high school student I do not have time to maintain multiple various accounts on multiple apps and websites.
  • I'm not going to have a "posting schedule" at least, not at first. My ideal goal is two posts a week, but I'm really just going to try for one. However, the posts I really want to be well done and not just thrown up like some of the posts I used to do were. I want them to all be well thought out and have effort put in them.
  • YOU! I want to hear from my readers, new and old beauty lovers, please share what you want to hear from me! Reviews? Tutorials? Empties? Favorites? Just let me know.
Thank you!
Miss Sparkle

SINFUL COLORS NAIL POLISH WARNING

Hey girlies!

As a gift I got a bottle of one of my favorite nail polishes, Frenzy by Sinful Colors. My sister also received one. We opened them, and neither of them had brushes in them! How are you supposed to put nail polish on without brushes? I guess it must of been a defective batch, so before you buy any nail polish by SC check for a brush. ACTUALLY, before you buy ANY nail polish, check for a brush! LOl. We are returning ours.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

My Everyday Eye Makeup+Tutorial

Hey everyone, so I decided to show you guys what my everyday eye makeup looks like. I'm sorry for the bad quality of the photo, but it's pretty much just that simple. I have decided I will try to post on here more frequently, but I still don't have a ton of time to post. :(

Here is how you can achieve this look.
A nude champagne eyeshadow across the entire lid.  (I have many, I can't remember what I used.)
A dark brown eyeshadow on outer third, then blended well. (Any kind.)
A gold color in the middle of your lid. I'm using one from a un-named palette I have, but I think Half Baked from Urban Decay would work well.
Brown eyeliner. I prefer liquid, but if you're good with pencil eyeliner then go right ahead!(Any brand.)
Curl your eyelashes. (Just use whatever eyelash curler you have.)
Apply your favorite mascara. I used two coats of lengthening mascara.
Line your waterline with any dark black eyeliner.
Conceal your under eye circles with any concealer, I used Elf.
Highlight on your brown bone with any with eyeshadow or eyeliner. I used an eyeliner by Essence, but you can't really see my brow so.....
Apply the same white color to your inner corner.

And voila! You're done. :)

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and let me know if you want more like this! Thank you!
