Hi everyone!
If you emailed me at my beauty blog email address within the last week or so, please let me know! Because I haven't been on there in a long time! Since I haven't been on there for so long, Hushmail decided to delete my account. So yeah. I have made a new email address so if you would like to contact me my new email address is silversparklebeauty2@hushmail.com
Once again my old account, silversparklebeauty@hushmail.com, WILL NOT WORK. So please, don't email me on that account. Thanks so much!

Fashionable Friday-Headbands!
Hi everyone!
Headbands are the latest trend right now. Especially for spring floral headbands rock right now! Even though Claire's might seem like they're for 8 year old's, they have awesome headbands this time of year! Seriously if you don't have any headbands go get some, they are awesome and will dress up any outfit! Even jeans and a t-shirt!
But be aware, there is a difference between headbands made from fabric (like hair tie material) and the plastic ones or the hard fabric kind. The thin ponytail holder material will make you look more ATHLETIC and are not that stylish unless your playing a sport. But the harder plastic kind (or whatever they're made of) are TOTALLY trendy and super cute!

Miss Sparkle!

Dream Bouncy Blush By Maybelline Review
Hi everyone!
Today I thought I would share with you with a review on the ever so talked about Dream Bouncy blush. I received this as gift for my birthday within the last month and thought I would do a review on it.
Photo is from maybelline.com
The color/shade I got is number 15 in the shade Rose Petal. Dream Bouncy is a cream blush which I do like. But....... the shade I got is REALLY REALLY light. Like it doesn't even show up on my face. I'm not sure if that's because of my freckles on my cheeks or what, but still, a blush should still show up. Even if it's in the lightest color they have. Okay so the main thing I wanted to share with you guys is the texture of the blush. It really is BOUNCY no joke! You can press down on the blush and it will practically spring back up! It really does have a bounce to it. Sort of like Jello you could say. For applying the blush I would say using your finger is a 100 percent must. There's just no way to get a brush into that thick of blush and apply it successfully. Be careful not to dig your nail in there though, because then you just waste the blush (which there isn't a ton of.) Another thing I wanted to add quick is that this blush is not a roll on cream blush. I have a roll on cream blush by Aveda that appears to be the same shade but is way more pigmented, so I guess that's slightly annoying to me, but I knew it wasn't a roll on before I got it. When I was looking at it though I thought it was going to be a powder blush, one that you need a brush for- but it isn't. So just be aware of that. So I guess overall I would recommend this blush.
Hope I helped you!
Love,
Miss Sparkle
NOTE: This post is not sponsored. This blush was given to me as a gift for my birthday my family members. All opinions are my own.

My Everyday Lip Routine
Hi everyone!
Today I thought I would share with you my everyday lip routine. This is what I do every single morning on my lips.
1. I put on a blue peppermint (or cool mint or some sort of mint) flavored Chapstick. I'm not 100 percent sure but I think this might have been a limited Christmas edition Chapstick a few years ago. I haven't seen it on the shelves since. But if you choose to copy my lip routine, any Chapstick will work. I prefer mint flavoring in them to make it cool and refreshing, but really any Chapstick will do.
2. I use Baby Lips lip balm/lipstick. I plan to do a review on this in the future but I've only been using it for a little over a week so I want to use it for a while before reviewing it. This product is really good. Mine is in Pink Punch or something like that, it tastes like pink lemonade. It's like a combo between lipstick and lip balm.
3. Then I use L.A Colors pink lipstick in CP232, but any bright pink lipstick will work. I just put this on like normal lipstick but I don't press very hard as this lipstick is very pigmented.
4. I put on a sparkley (I am Miss Sparkle after all!) lip gloss on top of that. I've been using cheap ones such as Smackers, but anything will work.
The last thing I wanted to share is that in between steps I normally let the product 'dry' or 'settle' before applying the next product. During this time I will normally put on my mascara or my blush or something else that I can do within a minute.
I hope you enjoyed reading my everyday lip routine! Thanks so much for reading!

Hunger Games Makeup
Hi everyone!
So if you're a HUGE fan of The Hunger Games like I am, your probably trying to figure out how to do your makeup for tonight. First off I toyed with just wearing normal makeup, then I decided to try and look like Katniss, but neither of those I decided would work. I didn't want to have the full on dirt on my face and braided hair and everything because A, I was the only one in my local movie theater that dressed up for the premiere of Breaking Dawn and B, I won't have time to wash off my face when I get back from the movie. I'm literally going right to bed and waking up on the early side the next morning.
So what to do what to do? I am going to braid my hair, but that's not very dramatic. I'm not 100 percent sure this is what I'm going to do, but I am 95 percent sure this is how I'm going to do my makeup for tonight:
1. I'm going to contour (I think I'm using that in the right term, but I'm not 100 percent sure) my lower cheeks, or whatever you call that place with a dark tan/light brown eyeshadow. I don't have any bronzer in my makeup collection at the moment, so I think using this will be okay. I know it's probably not the best for you skin, but it looks okay for a night so that's fine with me. I'm going to be using a brown/tan/gold palette from L.A Colors.
2. I'm going to line my lash line (upper and lower) with a black pencil eyeliner from The Color Workshop. If you know me, Miss Sparkle, at all, I hate pencil eyeliners for the top of my eye. But I do think that Katniss would wear pencil more so then maker as I call it eyeliner, so that's why I'm using that. But if I get really frustrated then I am going to use a gray eyeliner from CQ Cosmetics eyeliner brand, Smartliner.
3.I'm going to apply a light brown eyeshadow to my eyelids. If I think that looks to light then I will go darker. This step you can adjust to however you like it. I will blend out the eyeshadow with a flat eyeshadow blending brush. I will be using either a brown/tan/gold palette from The Color Workshop or L.A Colors
4. I might apply some mascara just because I feel like I'm naked if I go out in public without mascara on. So I think I might just do it even though it doesn't look like Katniss to wear mascara.
5. I will lightly blend in some light pink blush onto the apples of my cheeks. I will use either a pink creme blush from Aveda or The Color Workshop.
6. I will put on chapstick. I don't think it will matter what color, but I will probably do either a white/cream colored one or red/pink. Although lately I have been using a blue chapstick.
7. I'm going to put on a plum colored lip 'paint' as I call it on my lips. I call it lip paint because it's a palette of lip gloss, but when you put it on your lips it feels like lip stick. It's really weird, I got mine as a gift a few years ago for Christmas, but the brand is The Color Workshop.
So hopefully by the time I'm done, I'll look somewhat like this:

Aeropostale MINI MINI Haul
Hi guys!
I went to Aeropostale today and I wanted to share what I got. I only ended up getting one thing though, a pair of shorts.
The shorts I got are dark denim distressed skinny shorts. They are tight fitting like skinny jeans, but they are shorts.
REALLY COOL!
Sorry, can you tell I'm excited? I really needed some new shorts, so I'm happy. :)
Love,
Miss Sparkle!
NOTE: This post is not sponsored. I bought the shorts with my own money (well my own gift card) and all opinions are my own.

Fashionable Friday!
Fashionable Friday is here! Today I picked sandals! As it's getting warmer, I think that sandals are now appropriate to wear- they've all I've worn all day!
Sandals are not only cute, comfortable and colorful, (sometimes) but they are the perfect accessory!
Sorry that this post is so short, but it's all I have to say!
Love,
Miss Sparkle!

AVON Haul/Review!
Hi everyone!
So we have a friend that's friend works for AVON, and she knows Ilike love makeup and other beauty products, so she got me some. I'll write a review of everything I got too.
1. Love To The Fullest perfume by Reese Witherspoon. It smells, odd, if that's the right word. I like the smell, but it's not Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift quality smelling. The bottle is really simple, small and clear. I like it, but I'm not in love with it. It smells sort of old lady like, it reminds me of a senior citizen home for some reason.
2. Nailwear Pro nail polish (or as they call it, nail enamel) in Sheer French Pink. The number on the bottom is N606. It's a very nude color. I haven't really used it yet (I swatched it on my fingernail, but I took it off) and it looks like a really good product. Really good for french manicures.
3. A makeup bag. This was good because I didn't have a makeup bag I could use to travel with (which I do a lot) I always just stuck it the back of my backpack and dug around it when I was getting ready. I tried to find a picture of it on their website, but I couldn't find one. And guess what? I still don't have a makeup bag I can use. Because after LESS THEN 24 HOURS OF UNWRAPPING THE BAG from the packaging, the zipper broke. And now it's useless. I have no idea how much the bag was since all of these items were a gift, but it could of been really cheap and just broke. I have no idea. But I wouldn't recommend it.
Love,
Miss Sparkle!
NOTE: This post is not sponsored. I did get these as gifts from an AVON Rep, but she doesn't even know that I have a beauty blog. She just gave them to be because she knows I love makeup and beauty. All opinions are my own.

Fashioable Friday- A Day Early!
Hi guys!
Miss Sparkle here! I was so excited to do this post that I couldn't wait, so I'm doing it today- Thursday night- instead of Friday.
So today I was around a bunch of college students (who a lot of times have very good fashion sense) and I spotted four girls wearing the same exact thing. Which I think might be the new fashion trend, which totally casual AND comfortable- black and white striped shirts! I think that this trend is everywhere though, including on the red carpet! This look can be casual for school or work (if you don't have a dress code) with a striped shirt, or fancy for a party or date!
Photo from posh24.com
See? Even though this picture may be old, stars on the red carpet do wear stripes! So don't be afraid! Break out the stripes! I think that stripes (especially black and white) are coming back!

Long Term Relationship Shampoo From Herbal Essences Review
Hi everyone!
Today I decided to do a review on the shampoo Long Term Relationship by Herbal Essences. It's also a review for the conditioner. :)
Photo is from kaboodle.com
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE PRODUCT: I like that it cleans your hair. It really does clean it. It says on the back that it has (insert natrual plant/product thing here) to reveal your natrual shine. And it seems to work. Also on the back of each bottle it has a fashion tip on it (and on the conditioner too.)
WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THE PRODUCT: There isn't much I don't like. I don't however like that there is food coloring (well maybe not food coloring, but some sort of dye) in the shampoo. Since the bottle is red and everything, they wanted to make the shampoo be pinkish purple. I don't feel like I need my shampoo to be colored though. Just imagine what that's doing to your hair!
THE SMELL: I don't know really how to describe it, but it smells good.
THE PACKAGING: It's pretty.
HOW LONG I'VE BEEN USING IT: I've been using this shampoo (and conditioner) since the beginning of October I think.
And I also just wanted to say the conditioner works and smells just as good as the shampoo. It really leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth. I'm not sure how well it works to help with tangles as much as other conditoners since I've been using this one for so long, but it works well. I don't use conditoners for tangles, I like the silky smooth feeling. :)
This post is not sponsored. All opinons are my own.

Dailylook
Hi everyone!
If you watch Blair Fowler (juicystar07) on YouTube, then you can probably skip this post. Anyways I watched one of her videos a few days ago about a website called Dailylook. Dailylook is a website about fashion. Every day they show a new outfit that most people can easily recreate at home with clothing pieces of their own, OR you can purchase the items of clothing from the website. You can sign up to be a member of the website and stuff like that, but I haven't done that yet. All I do is go to the website every to most mornings, click on the button that says Today's Look and look at the fashion photography photos. If I think I can recreate with items of clothing in my wardrobe (and it will look good on me) then that's what I do that day, or I plan it and save it for a special occasion. I wore an outfit today to a baby shower that was inspired by one of their outfits.
So, this is a quick, short post, but I just wanted to let you guys know about this website!

Lets Be Honest Post
Hi guys! I saw another beauty blogger doing this post, so I asked her permission and she said I could do it, so I'm going to! Today I'm going to be posting some good and not so good things about myself.
NOT SO GOOD:
I never wear sunscreen unless I'm going out in the sun for long periods of time. I fully encourage you to put sunscreen or tinted moisturizer with SPF in it on every day though.
I have scratches all over my body. Not that I did or anything though! I have cats, and two of them are very playful and when you play with them, they accidentally scratch you.
I don't wash my face every morning. I do encourage you to wash your face every morning and night, but I wash my face almost every night in the shower, so I don't was my face in the morning. Even though I know I should. But I don't have time.
I don't always get a ton of sleep. Most nights I get at least 8 or 9 hours, but sometimes I don't go to bed until midnight and wake up at seven. And even though that might seem normal for some people, I like to get around 10 hours of sleep. I can me mean/rude and crabby when I don't get a lot of sleep.
I pick of my nail polish. I do. I paint my nails one morning and by that night or the following the night, most of the time the nail polish is already half way gone.
I rarely clean my makeup brushes. It's probably building up bacteria and other gross things, but truth be told there's only three makeup brushes that I use at least once a week and two that I use daily. So I personally feel that I don't need to wash them very often. Let me give an example, I don't do my eyeshadow a different color every day like some people do. I ALWAYS do brown. ALWAYS. So it's not like I need to wash the color off or anything.
GOOD THINGS:
I exercise a lot. I've counted up the hours that I'm stretching and exercising and it rounds up to seven and a half hours a week. And that doesn't count walking around my house, around the store or anything like that.
I'm starting to watch what I eat a little more. For example this month of March, I'm not drinking any soda. I know that might sound stupid, but it's really bad for you. I've read or heard that teens today have the bones of 80 year olds from drinking soda, energy drinks and other sugary foods. Plus, sugary drinks are high in acid which break down your bones. Another thing I've heard, but doubt to be true, is that since soda has so much sodium in it, you gain a pound for every two cans you drink. I just heard some teenagers talking about it as I walked by them, so it might be totally fake about the pound for every two cans thing, but still. Soda is still very unhealthy. So if you decide that you want to join in my soda free month, then please comment below! Even though it's March 2nd, I still say that you can join!
I use lotions. Every morning (or afternoon depending on how lazy I'm being) I put lotion all over my hands and legs and then sometimes on my arms. And every night before I go to bed I put lotion on my hands.
I take my makeup off. Most of the time. If I don't take a shower then I don't take ALL of it off, only some of it, but I still always take most of my makeup off.
So I hope you've gotten to know me a little better now!
Love,
Miss Sparkle!
